Bridge of Weir creates new leather for Lincoln

UK-based tannery group Bridge of Weir has created a leather specifically for Lincoln’s first small premium utility vehicle, the MKC.

‘Deepsoft’ is naturally milled leather, a process which enhances its natural grain.

The American carmaker said this, combined with a light finish, creates a soft, buttery touch “associated with only the most luxurious of leathers”.

The Ford-owned brand is planning to launch four all-new designs before 2016.
