Mercedes-Benz continues strong start to 2018

Mercedes-Benz bagged its 62nd consecutive month of sales growth in April after delivering more than 192,000 cars to customers around the world. This figure represented an increase of 6.6% compared to the same month of 2017.

Following on from the strong performance in the first quarter of 2018, the company has now delivered more than 786,000 vehicles in the year to the end of April. This is a 6.2% increase year on year. 

The Asia-Pacific region was especially positive for Mercedes-Benz in April, with deliveries of 80,243 units, 17.2% more than in 2017. This was led by a strong contribution from China, where the number of delivered cars rose 20.1% to 57,221 units.
