Mercedes-Benz on track despite August sales dip

From January to August, the company delivered a total of 1,512,268 vehicles, an increase of 1.1% compared to the same period of last year. It has never broken the 1.5-million vehicle barrier so early in the year.
Mercedes-Benz also reported that August marked the 30th consecutive month of global sales of more than 150,000 units. The number of vehicles delivered decreased 8.5%, however, compared to the same month in 2017. Sales were down 1.3% in Asia Pacific, 10.7% in Europe and 19.5% in the NAFTA region.
