Mercedes-Benz adds luxury of leather to new accessories collection

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new range of smartphone covers and bags for computers and tablets, with leather playing a starring role in a number of them.

The new products are the latest stage in the company’s collaboration with Paris-based electronics accessory developer CG Mobile.

The smartphone cover collection includes leather covers with "sweeping, organic lines" which are intended to represent the shape of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Some are perforated, taking their inspiration from the interiors of a number of the brand’s luxury vehicle models. They are available in five designs and six colours.

The updated range also includes a variety of durable bags for laptops, computers and tablets. They combine nylon fabric and leather, with the patterns again inspired by a Mercedes-Benz interior. The company’s logo features on the bags’ leather element.
