Brazilian exporters return to USMEF Product Showcase

USMEF said it was the largest to date, with 56 US exporting companies present. They welcomed 140 meat buyers from 18 countries in Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
Importers from Brazil were in attendance at the showcase for the first time after Brazil opened its market to US beef earlier this year. There will also buyers from Ecuador, who returned to the event after the country eliminated temporary import duties that affected US meat imports.
USMEF representatives also conducted educational seminars to provide information on emerging trends in the foodservice, retail and processing sectors.
