Delvaux pops over to Harrods

Belgian luxury leathergoods brand Delvaux, fully owned by Switzerland-headquartered group Richemont, recently “popped up” in high-end London department store Harrods for the first time.

Until February 2022, the Delvaux pop-up will be located on Harrods’ first floor, where it said it would showcase its legacy of “unrivalled savoir-faire, impeccable quality and excellence” as the oldest handbag maker in the world (founded in 1829).

Interior elements have been inspired by the brand’s Brussels-based museum, first opened in 2019, Delvaux revealed. The brand described the space as a “feminine and intimate” presentation of its design heritage.

The company’s existing London locations include New Bond Street and Dover Street Market.
