Moschino owner Aeffe sees 31% rise in H1
Italian luxury manufacturer and distributor Aeffe, co-founded by designer Alberta Ferretti, recently reported a 31% increase in its consolidated revenues for the first half (H1) of 2021.
Compared to sales of €118.9 million (around $140 million) during the same period of 2020, H1 revenues were €155 million ($182 million) this year.
Zeroing in on its performance in the second quarter, specifically, Aeffe said that its revenues rose by 76% over the previous year to reach €74.9 million ($88.1 million).
Co-founder and executive chairman, Massimo Ferretti, commented: “We are very satisfied with our H1 performance, featuring a significant increase in revenues for all our brands.
“Looking at the second part of the year, we are therefore positive, and we renew our enthusiasm to face the upcoming challenges with initiatives aimed at increasingly enhancing the distinctiveness of our brands and the evolutions of the current context.”
Mr Ferretti further added that the group’s recent move to take full control of Moschino will serve as an important catalyst for its future development.
In addition to Moschino, Aeffe also owns the Alberta Ferretti, Pollini and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini ready-to-wear, footwear and leathergoods brands.
