According to a provisional calendar recently released by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, 42 physical fashion shows (out of a total 61) are scheduled to be held in Milan for women’s fashion week, due to take place in the city from September 21 through 27.

18 of these physical shows are currently without a concrete location, but nevertheless are due to take place in-person. 

Its absence from the calendar suggests that Italy’s largest luxury brand, Gucci, will continue to show outside of industry-organised fashion weeks, as reported by the Business of Fashion. 

Further, Roman luxury house Valentino has chosen to return to the Paris show schedule.
