China’s Mr Bags reveals July’s 'top 30' handbags
Influential Chinese fashion blogger Mr Bags (real name Tao Liang) recently released his list of “the 30 most desirable handbags in China” for July.
Mr Bags has been specialising in curating (and dissecting) a most-wanted selection of luxury handbags for his millions-strong audience of loyal “bagfans” since 2011.
Though his methodology is somewhat opaque, the list reveals his own analysis of last month’s purchasing trends.
In descending order, the blogger’s ‘top 10’ are as follows:
10. Hermès Mini Evelyne (up 16 places on June’s list)
9. Gucci Diana (new to the list)
8. Louis Vuitton Papillon Trunk
7. Chanel Flap with adjustable chain
6. Celine Cabas in Triomphe monogram (up 17 places)
5. Fendi First (also new to the list)
4. Chanel Flap with double-sided adjustable chain
3. Celine Ava (up four places)
2. Chanel 19 (up one place)
1. Celine Triomphe (pictured)
Mr Bags has previously co-designed handbags typically geared towards the Chinese market alongside soft luxury brands such as Burberry, Longchamp and Chloé.
