Smit & zoon among new ZDHC contributors

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) group, which campaigns for hazardous substances to be eliminated from waste streams in the fashion supply chain by 2020, has added ten new companies to its list of contributors.

The new additions include leather chemicals supplier Smit & zoon, Italian leather manufacturer Santori Pellame, and UNPAC, the Italian leather chemical manufacturers’ association. 

They are joined by Taiwanese leather and textile auxiliary supplier Jollity Enterprise, India-based textile, leather and footwear testing company Geo-Chem laboratories, and Italian research and testing laboratory RITEX.

The other companies that are part of this ZDHC intake are: ACS Textiles Bangladesh, Salirone, Modern Testing Services, and Process Factory.
