UNIC joins Zero Discharge programme

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) programme has announced that Italian national tanning industry association UNIC has become new contributor to its work.

By joining, the organisation commits to supporting ZDHC’s goal of widespread implementation of sustainable chemistry in industries including leather and footwear.

“We’re excited to see continued support for the elimination of hazardous chemicals and are delighted to welcome UNIC as a contributor,” said ZDHC executive director, Frank Michel, on making the announcement.
