Nigerian companies showcase leather products in China

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) led a delegation of companies to October’s China International SME Fair (CISMEF), which took place in Guangzhou.

A total of 26 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including those working with leather, made the trip to showcase their products to a Chinese audience. 

Reports in the Nigerian media have said that the country’s pavilion at CISMEF was popular among visitors, with an average of 300 people visiting it on each of the three days of the event. They were able to speak with Nigerian officials and exhibitors to discuss potential business and investment opportunities in the country.
