Luxury goods brand Montblanc, owned by the Richemont group, has appointed Nicolas Baretzki as its next CEO. He will take over from Jérôme Lambert in April 2017.

Mr Lambert, who has led Montblanc since 2013, will take on the role of head of operations at parent company Richemont. He will be responsible for central and regional services, as well for all product divisions, except jewellery and watchmaking.

Mr Baretzki joined Montblanc in 2013 as vice president of sales. He has been part of the team at Richemont brands since 2002, firstly at Cartier before moving on to Jaeger-LeCoultre.

“Mr. Baretzki has played an important role in the successful development of the Maison in the recent years and will be the right person to ensure the continuation of this route,” Mr Lambert said.
