‘Remarkable’ growth for Hermes’ leather products

27/03/2015
A 15% increase in leathergoods sales helped push Hermes to €4.1 billion in revenues in 2014, despite the negative impact of currencies.

The growth, described by the French company as “remarkable”, was supported by the increased production capacities of the two new sites, Isère and Charente. Two extra workshops are being built in Franche-Comté.

Sales in Europe grew 7%, despite the difficult financial climate. In the US they rose 15%; 13% in Asia excluding Japan and 13% in Japan.
