Two new leathergoods factories for Hermes

Luxury group Hermes has reported a 13% growth in sales to €3.75 billion for 2013 and is planning two new leathergoods production facilities in the Franche-Comté region of France, to add to the its new workshops in Isère and Charente.

Sales rose 16% in Asia excluding Japan during 2013 and 14% in the Americas, while Europe grew 12% with “sustained activity” in all countries.

During the year,  the French group opened boutiques in Beverly Hills (US), Ningbo (China), Nagoya Mitsukoshi (Japan) and Milan (Italy).
