British leathergoods brand Mulberry has hired Johnny Coca as creative director, a replacement for Emma Hill who left the brand in June 2013.

The current head of leathergoods and accessories at French fashion house Celine will be responsible for Mulberry’s collections from July 2015.

After profit warnings this year, Mulberry announced plans to sell less expensive bags, as its rival, Burberry, aims at the higher end.
