Italy: strength in numbers for tanners’ association
Research and development, supporting employment and pushing for credit for its members are the most pressing issues that the Santa Croce tanners’ association is addressing, according to its president Ezio Castellani.
He said Assoconciatori, alongside colleagues from Ponte a Egola and in collaboration with the national union, is committed to bringing leather sector issues to the table of decision makers.
“We are increasingly aware that to best face this delicate economic phase, which represents the greatest crisis in the sector in the last 30 years, it is necessary to continue to work together with the entire sector and the supply chain,” he said.
He added that the association is always open for its members and for those that want to become more involved.
