Vestiaire Collective new home of repaired and recycled Mulberry bags
British luxury brand Mulberry recently announced that it is the second label to join Vestiaire Collective's Brand Approved programme. (Vestiaire is a Paris-based platform for luxury second-hand apparel and accessories.)
Fellow British enterprise Alexander McQueen became the first brand to join the programme last month.
Fully authenticated and refurbished Mulberry pieces are now available to purchase via its dedicated Vestiaire Collective page, the English brand said.
According to reports, companies following the Brand Approved guidelines solicit pre-owned items from top customers to, if necessary, repair and restore and then, ultimately, resell via the French platform.
The partnership effectively takes Mulberry’s own Mulberry Exchange resale service, launched in February 2020, online.
