UK-based leather maker Billy Tannery has teamed up with hat brand Laird Hatters for a collection of hats with leather peaks.

The company said: “Lockdown isn’t an ideal time to launch anything but the winter is drawing in and outdoor socialising likely to be the norm, it’s time to upgrade your headwear.”

The company launched a microtannery in 2016 after discovering that none of the goatskin left over from the food industry was tanned in the UK.

It now makes a range of leathergoods with partners in the UK.
