UK goatskin tannery reaches crowdfunding target

The tannery said that it surpassed the £12,000 target in just six hours.
At the time of writing, a total of £14,738 had been pledged to support the project. Overall, 63 backers have contributed so far.
Billy Tannery has offered first editions of its products as incentives to backers pledging more than £55. They will be discounted to varying levels compared to the expected retail price, depending on how much an individual donates.
The lowest incentive level of £55, which secured the backer a goatskin cardholder in a colour of their choice. This represented a saving of £25 off the retail price.
The largest incentive offered is for someone who pledges £1,235 or more. This gets them the full set of Billy Tannery products, including a briefcase and backpack.
The campaign runs until June 22. The tannery hopes to begin manufacturing in August, with its first products to be shipped in October.
