Apron project for Billy Tannery

06/07/2018
Billy Tannery, a specialist goatskin tannery that set up near Northampton in 2017, the first new leather manufacturer to set up in the UK in many years, has announced a new project.

It has worked with London-based design agency OTZI to develop a range of work aprons made in its vegetable-tanned goatskin leather. It will only make them to order and has said they will become available towards the end of July. The price will be £240.

The founders of the tannery, Rory Harker and Jack Millington, have said the aprons will be suitable for chefs and for other work environments and have said they can personalise the products by adding customers’ own logos.
