Brazilian tannery’s collection inspired by the Renaissance

Brazilian leather fair Inspiramais Digital will take place between August 25 and 27 on an online platform and will offer leather trends and materials for the footwear, accessories, clothing and furniture sectors.

Arte da Pele tannery, a specialist in python, pirarucu fish, and alligator, will present a collection inspired by the Renaissance.

Its director, Luis Bocchi, said: “All of this movement is centred on the city of Florence, which has a long tradition in artisanal work and is a world reference in leather technology and finishing.”

Inspiramais is organised by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB); the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal); the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit); the Brazilian Association of Furniture Industry (Abimóvel); Tex Brasil; By Brasil Components and Chemicals; and the Brazilian Leather project, a partnership between CICB and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
