25,000 luxury car enthusiasts attend UK's biggest Salon Privé
More than 25,000 people attended the Salon Privé classic car show at the UK’s Blenheim Palace, where 80 luxury and automotive brands presented their latest products.

Fifty historic Jaguars competed for the Bridge of Weir Jaguar Trophy, with the winner an impeccable C-Type. This car appeared in the Monaco Grand Prix, driven by Tommy Wisdom and later by Stirling Moss who drove it for much of his 1952 season.

A total of 11 new cars were debuted, including five UK debuts, five European debuts and 1 world debut, the 1939 Bentley Corniche. 

More than 17,000 guests attended the Salon Privé Classic & Supercar public day. Bentley Drivers' Club amassed a record 1,321 Bentleys, with Aston Martin Owners’ Club, Ferrari Owners’ Club, Lamborghini Club UK, McLaren Owners' Club and Porsche Club of Great Britain bringing over 500 classic and supercars to compete for the inaugural Lockton Club Trophy. 

The McLaren Senna scooped the top prize to the delight of its owner who had only collected it weeks ago.

The 1919 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost by Barker (pictured) won Best in Show.
