German automotive group BMW has reported flat sales for July. During the month, it sold just over 181,000 vehicles, an increase of 0.2% compared to July 2017.

There has been especially good performance from its range of electrified vehicles. Sales of these models have totalled 71,310 so far in 2018, 40.6% higher than at the same point of last year.
