LVMH unveils new digital training initiative

22/02/2018
Luxury group LVMH has partnered with leading schools and universities from across Europe to launch a new digital training programme about the luxury industry.

The programme, which it calls Inside LVMH, aims to give the young people enrolled “a deeper understanding of the strategic challenges in luxury”. The top students from the programme will have the opportunity to join LVMH’s intern and graduate initiatives.

The group said more than 3,500 people have already joined the Inside LVMH programme. It is open to students in engineering, business, creative, and design and technology courses at schools in six European countries – France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, the UK and Germany – as well as to interns and students already involved in LVMH initiatives.

The programme has been developed with the help of professors from leading design schools like Central Saint Martins, Bocconi University, ESSEC and Institut Français de la Mode. It aims to bridge the gap between university and the professional business environment. It also hopes to give participants a better understanding of the luxury industry.

The course consists of a four-month digital immersion within the LVMH group. It will focus on these key areas: Design & Creation, Brand Management, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Digital Transformation & Entrepreneurship, and Customer Excellence.
