Louis Vuitton prepares to open US leathergoods facility

Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has announced it is seeking to hire artisans to work at a new leathergoods workshop it is setting up in Texas, US.

The company purchased land in the city of Keene in 2017 and is planning to build a new facility there later this year. It is reportedly aiming to recruit at least 100 new employees over the next few years. 

No experience of working with leathergoods is required for prospective applicants as full training will be provided at a temporary location Louis Vuitton has set up in nearby Grapevine.
