Louis Vuitton unveils second chapter of art-inspired project
Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has unveiled the second phase of its project with US contemporary artist Jeff Koons which has seen it create a range of handbags inspired by famous pieces of art.

Among the artists whose work features this time are Claude Monet, Joseph William Turner, Paul Gauguin and Edouard Manet. They follow on the from the likes of Leonardo da Vinci, Titian and Vincent van Gogh, whose works were celebrated in the first chapter of the project.

Selected works from these artists have been reproduced on Louis Vuitton’s signature handbag silhouettes.  The name of the work’s creator is also emblazoned on the front of the bag and their biography and portrait are included inside. 

The limited-edition collection will go on sale on October 27.
