Polimoda launches new luxury business programme

The programme will run for the first time from April 2018 and will be delivered at Polimoda’s campus in Florence, Italy.
The partners have said this “highly specialised programme” will explore the key factors affecting the luxury business, including heritage, craftsmanship and creativity. Its aim is to give the students enrolled “the knowledge and skillset needed to operate in one of the most exclusive and demanding markets in the world.”
The curriculum will consist of seven intensive modules: brand, craftsmanship, design, quality, prestige, uniqueness and price. Lectures will be delivered by experts in these different fields with the contribution of representatives from Richemont and its Maisons.
The degree will also include several study trips, such as a week in Paris, which are designed to give students personal experience of real business scenarios.
At the end of the programme, the best students will be selected to take part in an internship or a period of work experience at a Richemont Maison.
