Polimoda’s new course is dedicated to bag design

“The Master in Bag Design, operated in partnership with Valentino, guarantees a well-rounded education in the area of leather goods, merging a creative approach with hands-on craftsmanship,” Polimoda has explained on its website.
The course, which will run from January to September 2019, includes master classes, workshops and projects specific to Valentino. There will also be visits to sites and production plants in the local area.
Lectures will be delivered by industry professionals with a practical and in-depth knowledge of the luxury sector. In addition, there will be guest lectures by international figures.
Total contact time will be 700 hours, with the additional opportunity to take part in an industry internship. Upon completion, graduates will be given the chance to join the Polimoda Talent 2019/2020 programme.
Also in January 2019, Polimoda is launching a similar course dedicated to footwear design. Its partner for this programme is another Italian luxury group, Salvatore Ferragamo.
