Polimoda’s new footwear and leathergoods lab

Florence-based fashion and design school Polimoda has a new headquarters for its leathergoods and footwear laboratory.
This part of the school, under the direction of Diane Becker, is now based in the plush setting of the Castello Dell’ Acciaiolo, a fourteenth-century palazzo in the Scandicci area in the west of the Tuscan city.
A formal opening of the new Polimoda site, which also includes front office accommodation and some lecture rooms, took place on September 30.
