Stahl breaks ground on second Centre of Excellence in China

The ceremony to break ground at the site was attended by Hagen Chen, Stahl managing director for greater China and Asia Pacific, who also laid the first stone. The new facility is expected to be completed in September 2018.
Stahl has said the establishment of this new facility will allow it to work closely with its partners to “anticipate the growing demand for products and solutions that have less impact on the environment.”
“Every day we get more requests from our customers, brands and OEM’s for products and solutions that have less impact on the environment,” Hagen Chen explained. “The new Centre of Excellence provides our customers better services with state-of-the-art testing machinery to develop new solutions, for example our water-based Stahl Evo products”
The Suzhou site will be Stahl’s second Centre of Excellence, joining its facility in Guangzhou, which specialises in solutions for leather.
