Tandy launches Philadelphia retail store

Leather and leathergoods retailer Tandy Leather Factory has opened a new retail store in Philadelphia, US. The store officially opened on October 17.

Shannon Greene, CEO of Tandy, said the company has been studying the Philadelphia market “for some time”. She added that this would be “the first of several new stores” it expected to open by the end of 2016. These openings come despite “the current challenges throughout the retail sector”.

Tandy operates 82 retail stores across the US and Canada, as well as distributing its products through 27 Leather Factory stores in the two countries. It also has combined wholesale/retail locations in the UK, Spain and Australia.
