“Struggling” international sales for Tandy
05/08/2016
International Leathercraft sales fell 15% to $267,000, the worst performing of Tandy’s divisions. Retail Leathercraft sales were down 4% to $4 million and revenue from Wholesale Leathercraft dropped 7% to $1.9 million in July.
Shannon Greene, Tandy CEO, said the company will continue to monitor international sales, which “really struggled” in July. Nevertheless, she insisted that Tandy was “still on track” to meet its annual revenue forecast.
"With sales showing consistent weakness overall, we are focused on both product and customer mix, as well as operating expense control, to maximise margins,” added Tandy president, Mark Angus.
