Brazilian tanneries double target set for PV New York

The five Brazilian tanneries that took part in Première Vision New York (January 19 and 20) booked $4 billion in business, twice as much as they had been expected.

José Fernando Bello, executive president of CICB (the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry), said: “It was a really excellent exhibition. Not only because of sales, but also because we showcased our articles to a very select public within the North American fashion industry.”

The tanneries – BCM, Cortume Krumenauer, Fazer, Nova Kaeru and Soubach - were supported by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency.
