Special events on the agenda for Paris

09/09/2009

The organisers of Le Cuir À Paris, which takes place from September 16–18 in Hall 4 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition site, have announced a series of special events that will take part during the exhibition.

The well known and well regarded Trends Gallery that is always on show at Le Cuir will, this time, present the colours, textures and types of leather that Paris-based trends experts, specialists in leather, believe tanners will have to produce for the autumn-winter 2010–2011.

There will also be a special presentation devoted to the use of leather in home décor and furnishing called Archi Cuir. And, on the same subject, the French Tanners’ Federation, the CTC (Technical Centre of Leather) and 12 French tanners will repeat the feat of last September and show off leather interior design ideas in a special mini-exhibition called Intérieurs Cuir.

Fingerless gloves worn by exhibition staff across all of the six Première Vision shows that take place simultaneously will also be a subtle celebration of leather and French glovemaking expertise.

Finally 20 Le Cuir À Paris exhibitors will take part in the Men’s Outerwear Trail, a special trail through the whole of the exhibition site highlighting special contributions to the latest fashion in men’s outerwear.
