Thieves have targeted another Tuscan tannery, making off with around 2,250 skins in an overnight raid, according to local press.

It is the second time the Coripel tannery in Fucecchio has been reported to have been hit in two months.

More than five Italian tanneries have had leather stolen in recent months.

Local police are investigating.
