Change at top for LVMH North America

Luxury group LVMH has appointed Anish Melwani as Chairman and CEO of its North American division, following the resignation of Pauline Brown.

Mr Melwani will take up the role in January and will be based in New York.

LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault said: "North America is a strategic market for LVMH, with our brands witnessing strong performances. Anish will help us accelerate growth and explore development opportunities."

Anish joins from McKinsey & Company, where he co-leads the Global Strategy & Corporate Finance practice.
