It said this corresponded to an organic increase in growth, meaning one with a comparable structure and constant exchange rates, of 6%.
Fashion and leathergoods was, once again, LVMH’s top-performing business segment with revenues for the nine months of almost €9 billion, 16% up on the corresponding figure for 2014. In terms of organic growth, it gave a figure of 5%.
“Louis Vuitton [the brand] continued its growth and displayed strong creative momentum in all of its collections,” LVMH said on reporting its quarterly results. “Leathergoods in particular saw great success with the creativity around Monogram and the craftsmanship of leather. Fendi generated strong revenue growth thanks to the excellent performance of all its products. Céline, Givenchy and Kenzo experienced sustained revenue growth. Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan continued the repositioning of their collections.”
