Fish tannery ceases trading

French artisan tannery Frémur is to close after 25 years, according to reports in French press.

It is reportedly one of the last two tanneries in Brittany, and had recently expanded to work with fish leather.

Founder Patrice Dobe also has a small leathergoods business, making wallets, purses and bracelets, and will retire when stocks run out.
