Tuscan tanning industry figure dies

Italian press have reported the death of Santa Croce tanning industry entrepreneur Dante Giannoni, at the age of 70.

Mr Giannoni established the Tuscania tannery, now run by his sons, Francesco and Azur, and was a member of the local tanning association and well-known in the district.

The funeral will take place on October 12 at the Collegiate Church of Santa Croce.
