Solofra considers tanners association

The mayor of Solofra has told local press he would like to establish an association for tanners in the city, and to join forces with similar groups in Santa Croce and Arzignano to campaign on issues.

He said this would create a unified voice for funding and policies when addressing government or the European Union.

Michael Vignola commented the southern Italian town is known as “the city of skins” as he visited the recent Lineapelle leather fair in Milan to support local businesses.
