Conceria Ferrante invests in efficient energy

A tannery in Solofra, Italy, has become the first to be fitted with a gas-powered co-generator with a Scania engine, according to local press.

Engineering company Def Power worked with Conceria Ferrante to install the customised product.

A representative from Scania’s Italian division said it would improve the energy efficiency of the tannery, which would result in economic and environmental advantages.
