Italian tanners embark on environmental footprint assessment

Tuscan tanners will meet in Santa Croce on September 30 for the launch of a new project designed to address leather’s environmental footprint.

Funded by the European Commission and coordinated by the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna university in Pisa, the initiative is aiming to create methods to support Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) assessment.

The seminar will present the benefits the ecological footprint of products.
