Lanxess presents two guides for sustainable leather production
Chemicals company Lanxess will present two new tools at the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE): a guide to minimising VOC (volatile organic compounds) and another on avoiding chrome VI formation in leather.

It will highlight products such as X-Zyme (beamhouse), X-Tan (tanning) and X-Biomer (retaining), placing emphasis on Sustainable Leather Management.

Lanxess products are available for all stages of leather manufacture, and include inorganic and synthetic/organic tanning materials, preservatives and tanning auxiliaries, fatliquoring agents and dyestuffs, and finishing products such as polyurethane dispersions, acrylates and auxiliaries.

The ACLE takes place in Shanghai from August 31 to September 2.
