LVMH dinner raises €300,000 for children’s hospital
LVMH brands and associates raised €300,000 for a children’s hospital at the annual Dîner des Maisons Engagées – Committed Maisons Dinner.

LVMH has since 2011 provided financial support for Robert-Debré hospital, which spearheads research on sickle cell anaemia.

The genetic diseases affects five million people and each year an estimated 250,000 children are born with it.

Chantal Gaemperle, group executive vice president, said: “The Dîner des Maisons Engagées is a great way for LVMH to reaffirm its commitments to many causes that the Group and its Maisons support throughout the year as part of their CSR strategy.

“This year we are delighted to honour the remarkable achievements of the Robert-Debré Hospital research centre. For this seventh edition of our dinner we also want to celebrate the work of French charity Secours Populaire to aid women who face difficulties, designated as our special cause this year.”

Earlier in December, Berluti presented Pierre Jeanneret furniture from the 1950s at Art Basel in Switzerland, using Venezia leather with a hand-applied patina technique using “an entirely new colour palette”.
