New leathergoods course takes LVMH training programme to Spain

At a ceremony in Paris in mid-October, the group honoured the institute’s 2019 graduates and set out its objectives for the future.
In 2019, 97% of people who began learning through the IME completed their training, which includes classroom learning and hands-on practical work; 61% of them secured roles within the LVMH group or with its partners.
One of the additions to the programme for the newly begun academic year is an introduction to leathergoods craftsmanship course, which will take place in Spain. This is the first time IME will operate in Spain, although expansion into Switzerland took place in 2016, followed by courses in Italy in 2017.
The new leathergoods course will take place in collaboration with Madrid-based, LVMH-owned luxury leathergoods brand Loewe.
