Longevity is key for Berluti
It said half of Berluti leather product receive “follow-up care, patina or glazing, or repairs due to wear”.
Berluti provides repair services at workshops in four repair centres around the world, staffed by artisan colourists or partner specialists.
“The Berluti patina gives shoes a unique personality, that of a shoe already worn, burnished by the passage of time,” it said.
“This patina also extends the product lifetime by making the shoes look like new. And thanks to the art of patina, Berluti customers can change the colour of their shoes, bag or belt as often as they like to suit their fancy.”
The Fashion & Leather Goods business group has made “animal well-being a top priority”, set out in its LVMH Animal-based Raw Materials Sourcing Charter, which was published in September 2019.
“The current crisis underlines the importance of not losing our focus on the goals of the transition to more sustainable development,” the group added.
