Recycled leather seats to hit New York Fashion Week

Hyundai MotorCompany has teamed up with fashion designer Zero + Maria Cornejo to produce 15 articles of clothing featuring the leftover pieces from the car manufacturer’s seating production for this year's New York Fashion Week. 

The event is being held in September and themed “Saving the planet in Style”.  

In collaboration with its seat manufacturing department, Transys, Hyundai will provide materials to Zero + Maria Cornejo to make unique articles as part of its “Re:Style” cultural event commemorating the collaborative upcycling efforts between automakers and the fashion industries.
