Première Vision outlines leather buyers' services
29/05/2019
The show will take place the day after the inaugural Sustainable Leather Forum, which will also be held in Paris and at which PV’s director of marketing, Chantal Malingrey, will speak as part of a roundtable.
Around 300 businesses from 27 countries will be housed in Hall 3, with “eco-innovations” highlighted in the Smart Area.
There will be new personalised services available for buyers: fashion ‘speed dating’ and guided tours on themes such sustainable development, leathergoods and shoes.
Workshops by leathergoods designer Nathalie Elharrar focusing on the eco-design of a leather bag and the processes used by tanners will also be a highlight, and visitors can gain an understanding of the technical know-how involved in the construction of bags, shoes and leather clothing in a new 60 square-metre space.
