The leather sector is among the areas in which Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for increased cooperation between her country and Italy.

During a meeting with newly appointed ambassador to Bangladesh, Enrico Nunziata, Prime Minister Hasina appealed for support from Italy to develop the leather sector. In particular, she highlighted the quality of leathergoods manufacturing in the European country.
